HGV Class 1 Driver Jobs | Up to £22.50ph | Fixed Weekly Bookings – Skelmersdale

Looking for regular Class 1 work with a fixed start time each week?
Employ Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a major retail distribution operation  This is not typical agency work Drivers are recruited onto ongoing weekly bookings with consistent start times and planned rotas — giving greater stability and regular work.

Pay Rates

• Monday–Friday
• AM – £17.50ph
• PM – £19.70ph

Saturday

• AM – £19.20ph
• PM – £21.40ph
• Sunday
• AM – £20.30ph
• PM – £22.50ph
• PAID BREAKS

Minimum 10 hours per shift

Shift Pattern

• Operation runs 24/7.
• AM starts:
• 03:00–08:00
• PM starts:
• 15:00–20:00

Drivers are typically recruited onto a set start time (for example, a 06:00 start remains your regular shift pattern).

The Role
Retail store delivery work.

Typical shift includes:

• Usually 1–2 store deliveries per shift
• Delivery of roller-caged goods
• Tail lift operation
• Collection of empty cages and returns
• Vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Safe operation of single and double deck trailers
• Professional communication with stores and transport teams

Requirements

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) held for 6 months
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Professional approach
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours rules
• Comfortable with physical store delivery work
